Sinclair Hires a New ND in B-More

Sinclair’s WBFF (Baltimore) has named Mike Fahey as the station’s new News Director.

“Mike Fahey is a tenacious news manager, with years of experience as an Executive Producer in Boston,“ the station said in announcing their new hire.

Fahey comes into the Sinclair food chain from WHDH in Boston where he spent the past 6 years working as an Executive Producer.

“This is the opportunity of a lifetime, to lead a station with such a tremendous legacy. I have been very impressed with the station, its reporters, and depth of its impactful journalism.” He added, “We will continue to ask the tough questions and hold our local leaders accountable. I am passionate about continuing to address the issues facing our community. I look forward to working hand-in-hand with reporters and anchors that have made such an incredible impact on this market already,” Fahey said on his hiring.
