Headed Back to Miami

WRIC (Richmond) Anchor Constance Jones is headed back to SoFlo.

Jones worked in both Miami and Atlanta, but after a couple of stumbles, she made a soft landing where she really made the most out of her second act.

Jones was highlighted a few times on FTVLive for some boneheaded mistakes, but instead of lashing out and blaming others, Jones took the criticism and really turned it all around at WRIC.

The next time she made FTVLive, it was for being named one of the top evening News Anchors in the country.

She even posted about her past dealings with FTVLive, as many at WRIC said she became a model employee.

Insiders at WRIC said that Jones was a delight to work with and had become a newsroom leader.

Well, after two years in Richmond, Constance Jones is headed back to Miami and will be the new morning Anchor at NBC’s WTVJ.

It is nice to see that someone that stumbled a bit, was able to mature, turn it around, and become someone that this business can be proud of.

Everyone likes a comeback story and Constance Jones is that story.

Good for her.

Sources tell FTVLIve that she signs off in Richmond at the end of January.
