Insiders tell FTVLive that Cox’s KOKI has parted ways with longtime morning Anchor Tiffany Alaniz.

While her bio remains on the station’s website, her picture is gone from the “meet the team” page. She has also taken any reference of KOKI off her Twitter account page.

Alaniz had been with the station just under 10 years, coming from Joplin, MO.

While it's not totally clear as to why she was dismissed, station sources say that after the internal e-mail was sent out that Alaniz was no longer with the station, management immediately followed that message with a reminder to station personnel about the company's strict social media policy that says employees cannot take political stances on their social media accounts, and they must uphold high standards of fairness and protecting the station's image with how they use their accounts on all platforms.

Alaniz landed on FTVLive almost two years ago after being arrested for DUI. After being suspended from the station, she eventually returned to the anchor desk.
