Gone in The Land

WOIO (Cleveland) has parted ways with Reporter Kendall Forward.

This was the brief email that went out from WOIO General Manager Erik Schrader and obtained by FTVLive:

It looks very similar to email that Schrader sent out when the station sacked Anchor Erin Logan after her arrest.

The station does not seem big on details when they let someone go. You know…..the communications business.

Forward last posted to social media back in mid-December about a story that she did on a COVID testing place. Since that post, she has gone silent.

Forward has been at the station for just over 2 years and she has landed on FTVLive a few times during her stint at the Gray station.

Ironically, the night that Logan was arrested for DUI, she had spent the night out with Kendall Forward.

As to why Forward is no longer with the station, many inside the newsroom say they don’t know what happened?

One station insider did add, “It’s kinda crazy how many of this News Director’s (Ian Rubin) hires have left in such... “interesting circumstances.””

All we know is that Kendall is no longer with the station going Forward.
