Why Did You Feel the Need to Do That?

Astrid Martinez works at Meredith’s WGCL in Atlanta and like some of her co-workers, she seems to believe that there is no problem with a Journalist sharing their political opinions on social media.

An example of where she calls out people that voted for Donald Trump:

After some of her biased posts, a viewer messaged her to say that she was disappointed in Martinez for showing her bias.

The viewer seemed to make her case respectfully and was nice.

Martinez responded with “Just Leave. No Need to Announce. My Life Will Go on.”

Really? The viewers are your customers. Is Meredith OK with their talent talking this way to the viewers? Is the company OK with talent swearing in their post and calling out voters?
