It appears that CBS is dealing with another COVID outbreak and it appears that WCBS is the culprit.

You may remember that CBS shutdown Broadcast Center back in the Spring after a number of staffers tested positive for the virus.

The company finally let people return to the building, but they are now dealing with the ‘rona again.

The Washington Post writes that ViacomCBS is still dealing with a steady beat of coronavirus cases. In November, 15 people who have been in the media conglomerate’s CBS Broadcast Center complex have tested positive, according to emails sent to employees. There was also an additional positive case at a building across the street.

The Post reports that the cases this month seem to have primarily affected New York’s WCBS local station and to not have directly affected CBS News employees, though the most recent alert mentioned that the “CBS This Morning” kitchen area was an affected space.

The story points out that CBS has seemingly been hit harder than almost any other major media conglomerate, despite a strict testing policy, which started at the beginning of the pandemic’s spread in the United States.
