COVID Breakout at Dayton Station

Insiders at Sinclair’s WKEF/WRGTin Dayton, Ohio say that at least three station employees have tested positive for COVID.

One station insider says that a number of people believe that the spread happened after the staff was assigned to cover local high school football games.

Station insiders tell FTVLive that “Thursday Night Lights” is a big moneymaker for the station with sold sponsorships.

“Despite concerns for crew safety,  the money from sponsored broadcasts of games seems to have overruled that,” said one station insider to FTVLive.
