As COVID Cases Increase

Stats show that COVID cases are back on the rise in much of the country. Hospitalizations are up, cases are up and the death toll continues to climb.

Yet, a group of ladies from Nexstar’s WKRN (Nashville) decided to take a trip together to this weekend to Gatlinburg, TN, seemingly without any regard to the ongoing pandemic or practicing the CDC guidelines.

Insiders say that meteorologists Danielle Breezy and Megan Thomas, along with anchor Erica Francis and reporter Brooke Reese made the trip to celebrate Francis’ birthday.

Sources tell FTVLive that one of those making the trip just got over having the ‘rona. Some inside the station are not happy that their co-workers seem to be thumbing their nose at the pandemic and putting them at risk.

As deaths are well over 200,000 and over 8 million cases here in the United States, it is clear that with actions like this, COVID-19 is going to be with us deep into 2021.
