I don’t think many of you had to guess very hard to know who would top our worst list for 2019.
In fact, of all the nominations for the worst person in TV news that came into FTVLive, more than half mentioned this guy’s name.
The Worst Person in TV news for 2019 is the man that has single handily taken a great brand and has made it a joke punchline.
Of course, we are talking about CNN boss Jeff Zucker.
Jeff Zucker has turned CNN into a laughing stock. Just mention “CNN” to someone on the street on either the right or the left of the political spectrum and it is a good bet you will get some comment or an eye-roll.
CNN was at one time a great brand, it was where people turned when the big news was breaking. That Is no longer the case.
Zucker has basically made CNN a very bad version of MSNBC.
CNN spends most of its time at the bottom of the cable news ratings. The 24/7 anti-Trump programming have made people immune to Trump and his antics.
When Trump does something particularly bad, viewers shrug it off because CNN obsesses on everything Trump does and claims all of it is bad.
Zucker uses CNN media critic Brian Stelter to carry his water and Stelter spends each day obsessing on Donald Trump and Fox News. Zucker says it and Stelter prints it.
When he headed up NBC, he took the network from first to worst, but at CNN he has ruined the brand completely.
Think about it, do you really think that CNN will be looked at as a credible news organization ever again.
People that used to work for CNN tell FTVLive that they are now embarrassed to admit that.
Just like Hannity and Fox News, CNN seems to be doing everything in their power to divide this country.
Jeff Zucker was an easy pick and he comes in as the Worst person in TV news for 2019.
