When You Don't Quite Fix The Template

When a retransmission dispute happens with a station in your market, it is also happening in other markets.

So, when WSB (Atlanta) falls off say Dish Network, other Cox stations like WPXI (Pittsburgh) and WFTV (Orlando) are also off of Dish.

The media company sends templates down to stations to post on their website.

Here is WSB’s (Atlanta) post that needed a bit of proofreading:

They needed to insert their call letters, or do what WPXI (Pittsburgh) did and add an “our”:

When you bounce around to the station’s websites in a particular media group, your local station really doesn’t feel that local.
