Mr. Cameron Goes to Washington

Griffin Communications, who owns KWTV in Oklahoma City and KOTV in Tulsa announced yesterday that they are going to set up shop in DC.

Starting in January, the company is sending Reporter Alex Cameron to Washington, DC to live and report from the nation's capital.

“Alex has built a reputation as a fair, trustworthy and investigative journalist in his 20 plus years at News 9,” said Nathan Elliott, Director of Content for News 9. “He is uniquely qualified to take on this new role and provide unique, relevant content for our viewers.”

Hmmmm? What makes someone “uniquely qualified” to report from DC?

“Reporting from the nation’s capital has been a lifelong dream for me,” said Cameron.

It is great to see him live out his lifelong dream and he’s just lucky enough to be “uniquely qualified” to do so.
