What the Hell?

Talent often get mean tweets posted against them, but what happens when your own station does it?

Seth Dunlap is the host of WWL Radio’s weeknight sports show.

Dunlap is gay, a fact that many of his listeners first discovered last week when he penned a personal essay about New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and Brees' relationship to the anti-LGBT group Focus on the Family.

Dunlap posted a question to Twitter and his own station responded, calling him a “fag”:

The tweet was deleted and the station then posted this:

Reached by phone, Dunlap declined comment about the offensive tweet sent out by his own station. An email to WWL-AM's operations and program director, Diane Newman, was not immediately returned.

He did post this tweet:

It’s bad when it comes listeners, but when your own station does it, well….someone damn sure needs to be fired.
