The Turnover Continues in the A-T-L

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that WGCL had parted ways with main Anchor Thomas Roberts.

Roberts barely made it a year before deciding he wanted out at the Meredith station.

Roberts was brought in 13 months ago to replace Ben Swann, who left to wear his tinfoil hat full-time and hasn’t been heard from since.

The main female Anchor, Sharon Reed left in May and also has not been heard from.

WGCL has not officially named Reed’s replacement, but eventually they will and it will be Shon Gables.

The station fired their main Weather Anchor Paul Ossmann for making inappropriate comments and Ossmann has a pending lawsuit against the station.

WGCL has been making some inroads in the ratings after spending years in dead last place. But now, you have to wonder if this anchor upheaval will once again set the station back?
