This is NOT News...But it is Sinclair (Updated)

Years ago, the 80th Congress passed a total of 906 public bills, then President Truman nicknamed it the "Do Nothing Congress" and, during the 1948 election, campaigned as much against it.

Fast forward to 2019 and the 116th Congress. They have only passed a fraction of that and currently more than 100 bills have passed the House but have not made it through the Senate or onto the president’s desk. Approximately 20 bills have passed in the Senate and have not yet made it through the House.

In other words, the “do nothing congress” did a hell of a lot more work than the congress we have today.

You would think that would be news? You would think that would something that stations would be covering? You would hope that stations would demand their states US Reps to start doing the work that we the taxpayers pay them to do?

You would be wrong!

Stations are obsessing on Popeyes chicken sandwich and other bullshit.

In Columbus a guy that sort of looks like actor Bradley Cooper and works the drive-thru at a local donut shop is a story that Sinclair’s WSYX is covering.

Yes folks, this is Journalism in 2019.

Enjoy!

Update: A FTVLive reader let us know that this Reporter works for Sinclair’s WTOV in Steubenville and the story was shared by WSYX. So, in other words, if Columbus viewers want to see fake Bradley Cooper, they have a long drive.
