Sweeping Up in Dallas
/It was over a year ago that KTVT Anchor Kaley O’Kelley signed off at the Dallas CBS O&O.
Her Co-Anchor Doug Dunbar has soloed his way through three straight sweeps periods and won all of them in the ratings of total viewers.
In other words, CBS is saving a big Anchor salary and still winning the ratings. If I’m Dunbar’s Agent, I’m asking for a raise for the Anchorman.
The 10PM ratings show that KTVT is on top and they picked up viewers year to year, which is refreshing to hear:
Total Viewers
KTVT -- 147,615 (plus 19,419)
WFAA -- 140,586 (plus 5,266)
KXAS -- 119,498 (minus 8,698)
KDFW -- 112,469 (minus 1,485)
At 6PM, KTVT goes from first to worst in total viewers:
