WIVB (Buffalo) Chief Photographer Mike Mombrea Jr. has called in a wrap after 40 years at the station.

Mombrea worked his last day at the Nexstar station on Friday.

Mombrea, 65, followed his father, Mike Mombrea Sr., 98, in the family business.

The senior Mombrea, who also was a celebrated WIVB photographer, showed up at the station for his son’s final day. The Mombreas worked together at Channel 4 for about five years and both are in the Buffalo Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
