Looking at the specs I found online, it says, “The CH-53E as designed to transport up to 55 troops or 30,000 lb (13,610 kg) of cargo and can carry external slung loads up to 36,000 lb (16,330 kg).”

That is a long way from a 26,000 pound vehicle and 16 TONS of cargo.
