The New York Press Club says it’s catching heat for picking CNN’s Jim Acosta for an award they will be handing out this year.

Gee…. and they didn’t see that coming?

Jim Acosta spends more time talking and reporting on his favorite subject, which happens to be Jim Acosta.

In an email sent to members of the club it said, “This is an urgent message to make you all aware of some very alarming social media attacks specifically targeted against the New York Press Club in reaction to our recent naming of Jim Acosta as the recipient of the Gabe Pressman Truth to Power award.”

It went onto say, “supporting truth to power and doing the job of getting essential information out to the people in an unbiased, nonpartisan manner.”

I’m sorry….but Jim Acosta is about as nonpartisan as Sean Hannity and Rachel Maddow.
