Social Media at its Worst

So many people love to hide behind a keyboard and spew pure hate.

Sometimes, the hate is so bad, it has to be called out.

Back in April of 2017, ESPN Reporter Royce Young shared the news that his wife gave birth to a stillborn daughter.

It is the two year mark since Young, who is based in Oklahoma City and covers the NBA Thunder, and his wife Keri lost their daughter, Eva, as a result of a rare medical condition.

One NBA fan did not like Young’s coverage of the Thunder after they fell behind 3-1 to the Portland Trail Blazers in their first round NBA playoff. In an apparent response to a series of Young tweets highlighting a bad second half shooting performance by Thunder star Russell Westbrook, the troll wrote: “Don’t be mad (because) Russ’ daughters are alive unlike yours.”
