Former St. Louis Anchor Turns Down Award
/Back on April 1st, FTVLive told you that former KTVI (St. Louis) Anchor Don Marsh was hosting a show on KWMU radio.
But, Marsh was asked to hand in his resignation after he conducting and interview with his former competitor, KSDK anchor Karen Foss.
Marsh was reprimanded for greeting Foss with a ‘’you look good”.
The radio station thought that was over the line and Marsh handed in his resignation.
Marsh was recently named 2019 Millard S. Cohen Lifetime Achievement Award from St. Louis Public Radio, but he is not going to accept the award and it will be given to no one.
"I'm not going to be there," Marsh said. "Accepting that award, or even awarding it to me now, would be inappropriate."
Marsh says he will be a no-show at the banquet on May 2nd.
