The Deuce is Bumped Up at 60 Minutes

When CBS fired Jeff Fager from 60 Minutes, many had hoped that a woman would be named the EP of the famed news magazine show.

It didn’t happen.

CBS named Fager's longtime No. 2 Bill Owens as the new Executive Producer of the show.

Owens had been the “acting EP” since Fager was shown the door.

Now he gets the gig full-time.

He is only the 3rd EP in 60 Minutes history.
