Nexstar Swings the Ax

Two sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar has swung the ax at WGHP, the blowtorch station in Greensboro.

The station was one of the Tribune stations that Nexstar acquired and sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar thought the station was employing many more people than they thought the station needed.

No word on a body count at WGHP

Also, Nexstar pulled the pink slip express up to another former Tribune station.

Sources tell FTVLive that at KDVR/KGWN (Denver) that at least 3 people were told that they were being laid off.
