Bumped Up the Scripps Food Chain

Longtime News Director Ed Chapuis is finally making a move to the corner office.

Chapuis had been the News Director at Scripps owned KGTV in San Diego.

Now he is moving the role of General Manger at KSBY in San Luis Obispo, which is also owned by Scripps.

It’s always good to see a ND move into the GM chair and it does not happen as often as it should.

Scripps recently moved Tampa News Director Matt Brown to the GM at their Tallahassee station.

Let’s hope we see more of this, cuz we damn sure don’t need anymore sales people as GM’s.
