Headed to Philly

Fox O&O WTXF in Philly has made a new hire for the new year.

Staring in 2020, Philly viewers will see Marcus Espinoza reporting stories for the station.

Fox Philly News Director Jim Driscoll called Espinoza a “passionate storyteller who sincerely cares about the community.”

Ok, how can he care about the community when he just got to Philly?

I know stations need to make up catchy quotes when they make a new hire, but this is a bit of a stretch don’t you think?

Espinoza joins Fox Philly after a two years stint at KHQA in Quincy, Ill., where he obviously did not care about the community that much, cuz he left after just a couple of years.
