BREAKING! Tampa GM is Bounced

The other shoe just dropped at Nexstar’s WFLA in Tampa.

Back in June, FTVLive FIRST told you that the staff at WFLA was sent a very brief memo from General Manager Skip Valet saying that News Director Ryan Minnaugh was gone “effective immediately.”

Well, Karma as they say is a bitch.

The staff at WFLA was just sent another very brief memo from Nexstar Regional VP saying that Valet is now gone from the station.

Here is the memo, obtained by FTVLive:

Good Morning-

Earlier this morning I accepted Skip Valet’s resignation. I want to thank Skip for his efforts and contributions to our stations. And, I want to wish Skip only the best in his future endeavors.

Until Skip’s permanent replacement is announced I will be taking on the GM responsibilities for the Tampa operations.
