BREAKING! New General Manager Named in Tampa

A couple of hours ago, FTVLive FIRST told you that WFLA had parted ways with General Manager Skip Valet.

In a memo to the staff, Nexstar Regional VP Andy Alford said that Valet was out and that he would be the acting GM until a replacement was named.

Well, he was acting GM for basically the lunch hour.

Sources tell FTVLive that WSPA General Manager Mark Higgins is making the trip down I-75 to be the next GM at WFLA.

Higgins has been at WSPA just over 3 years.

I’m not sure Valet even got his desk cleaned out, before his replacement was named.

You got to love this business.
