Is This Better, Or Worse?

Yesterday, FTVLive told you how KRDO (Colorado Springs) was doing a series that they are calling “Asian Spas, Hiding in Plain Sight.”

A number of people thought that the station was lumping all Asian massage businesses together.

FTVLive pointed out that while looking at the KRDO on-air roster, it did not appear that any of the staff were Asian.

But, a number of FTVLive readers pointed out that KRDO News Director Staci-Lyn Onofre, is Asian. I’m not sure if Onofre played apart in the title of this series, but I would think that she would have steered away from playing to the stereotype.
