Like Elvis, KTRK Reporter Rebecca Spera has left the building.

After 4 years, Spera left the station to.....say it with me....spend more time with her family.

Spera told viewers on social media that she has not renewed her contract with KTRK. Monday was her last day at the station.

"It was a really difficult decision to make but when you work in TV news, it’s a lot of hours, it’s full dedication and you have to be all in and you have to love every single second of it," Spera said in the video. "I had to take a second and sit back and look at my life and decide if I wanted that life for myself anymore."

Spera joined KTRK in 2014 as a features reporter, according to her bio on ABC 13's site. In March 2015, Spera joined the afternoon newscasts as a traffic anchor. She was also the host of "Mirror/Mirror," a segment that focused on beauty, health and fashion.

Spera said in her Facebook video that she wants to promote products and brands that improve people's lives, much like the things she covered on "Mirror/Mirror."

"This week I'll be announcing what I'm working on next. It's all with people, products and places I believe in," Spera said. "Everything I'm going to do is going to help people look, feel and be their best."

Pitching products on social media? Has that ever been done before?
