Flushing Big John

Yesterday, FTVLive FIRST told you that WTOC (Savanah) Chief Meteorologist Big John Wetherbee was no longer with the station. 

Neither Wetherbee, nor the station is talking, but the word on social media is that Wetherbee was let go for inappropriate conduct.  

Former WTOC chief meteorologist Pat Prokop says his successor was “unjustly fired” and is not speaking kindly of the station. 

Wetherbee has gone silent on social media. 

In 2017, Wetherbee was named the best Meteorologist in Savanah.
