You can stick a fork in WBAL (Baltimore) Anchor/Reporter Adam May.... He's done.

May says that he is leaving B-More and TV News. In a post on social media May wrote, “After 20+ years as TV journalist and 15 years in Baltimore, it’s time for the next chapter ... and my family is excited!” He added, “We’re heading back to my hometown of Minneapolis where I am going to work in corporate communications. This amazing opportunity allows me to be closer to my family, grow in a new career field and work a schedule that allows me more ‘dad time.’”

May joined WBAL in October 2016 after a short stint at Al Jazeera America, which shut down operations in April 2016.

May joined Al Jazeera from WJZ in Baltimore.

“I’m just really overwhelmed by the support I’ve had in Baltimore. Also I’m really looking forward to life after TV,” May said in a direct message Wednesday, adding that he was looking forward to taking his son camping for a weekend this summer.
