Heartland Media-owned KHSL KNVN in Chico, California, announced Julia Yarbough has joined the station’s early morning 5-7AM weekday broadcast.

 “The experiences gained from covering news in major markets and internationally has given me a unique opportunity and ability to engage all segments of the community through storytelling. This is an exciting chapter of my journalism carrier which has come full circle; returning home to Northern California, the desire for my family to live in a smaller community and still have the opportunity to offer my career experiences to cover Chico Redding and surrounding communities accurately and fairly feels like a winning career-combination,” Yarbrough said. 

A native of Fairfield, California, Yarbough is a graduate of The University of California, Santa Barbara.
