Breaking! Man Shot at WTTG Studio by Station Security Guard

A man was shot by a WTTG security guard after the station claims that the man tried to break into the building at the Fox O&O.

The station has broken into programing to report about the shooting by their security guard. Witnesses say the guy tried to break into the station and was intercepted by the station’s security guard, who fired one shot hitting the man in the upper torso.

It happened around 3PM as many on the night shift were showing up to work. A couple of employees ran from the station and got back in their cars and drove away from the scene.

The station has made no official comment and it is not known if the suspect was armed.
