Hurricane Coverage Advice from FTVLive

As news crews in Texas get ready to cover Hurricane Harvey, here are a few tips. 

Below is a video of a Reporter covering Typhoon Hato hitting Hong Kong.

This Reporter shows us a few things not to do. First, never ever wear a bike helmet while covering a hurricane. Better to take some flying debris to the melon, then get mocked for your headwear.

Second, don't stand too close to the coast line when doing stand ups. You might find yourself on your ass very quickly.  

Also, one more thing, it is more than likely people are going to die in this storm. So for God's sake, don't post a smiling selfie of you covering the storm.

Even though I give this advice, I sooooo know it's still going to happen.
