Bumped Up in Tucson

Last week, FTVLive told you that KVOA in Tucson announced that Angelique Lizarde is being promoted from Weekend News Anchor to Primary News Anchor at NBC affiliate.
So now, the station has named Lizarde's replacement for the weekend gig.
Alyx Dote will be promoted to Weekend News Anchor at KVOA starting August 12th. Dote will co-anchor News 4 Tucson weekend newscasts at 5:30 & 10:00PM with Nick VinZant.
Before joining KVOA in June, 2016 as a Reporter/Multi-Media Journalist, Dote reported news for KRCR in Chico, CA.
