A Good Sport

FTVLive told you that WKMG in Orlando kicked longtime Sports Anchor David “Ping” Pingalore to the curb after 10 years at the station. 

The station did not take anytime in filling Ping's sport with Jamie Seh , who has been at the station for 6 years. 

Now the O-Town station is expanding Seh's role and giving her a new show. 

The Orlando Sentinel says that Seh is getting a half-hour program that will air at 11:30 p.m. Saturdays.

The show, which has a working title of “Saturday Night Sports,” will debut Aug. 26 and run year-round, the station announced Friday.

WKMG General Manager Jeff Hoffman described the series as a big show of support for Seh.

And a big slap in the face of Pingalore, he should have added. 

BTW,  Pingalore has resurfaced in LA doing sports for KTLA, which is a much larger market than Orlando.
