It was a scary moment for the staff at KAKE in Wichita.

A truck crashed right into the front of the station.

Police say a man driving the truck had a medical emergency and drove right into KAKE's front doors of the building causing several glass partitions and steel frames to break.

Damage estimates are not being released but is considered extensive.

Staff inside the studios say they heard a loud crash. Upon finding the car crashed into the building, staff tried to secure the building, then called 911 and evacuated to safety.

Management at KAKE Studios have hired a private security firm to watch the building until repairs are made.

The man driving the truck was not seriously hurt and expected to be okay. No KAKE staffers were hurt in the crash.
