Fox News host Bill O'Reilly sat down for a pre-Super Bowl interview with his milkshake drinking buddy, Donald Trump.

The two talked many issues, including Trump's claim that he won the popular vote if you take out the 3 to 5 million people that voted illegally.

While O'Reilly had many chances to ask REAL follow ups....he ignored them:

OREILLY: Is there any validity to the criticism of you, that you say things you can’t back up factually and as the President if you say for example that there are 3 million illegal aliens who voted and then you don’t have the data to back it up. Some people are going to say, that’s irresponsible for a President to say that. Is there any validity to it?

TRUMP: Well, many people have come out and said I am right, you know that.

O’REILLY: I know, but you have to have data to back that up.

TRUMP: Let me just tell you, and that is doesn’t have to do with the vote, although the end result. It has to do with the registration. And when you look at the registration and you see dead people that have voted. When you see people that are registered in two states, that have voted in two states, when you see other things, when you see illegal’s people that are not citizens and they are on the registration roles. Look, Bill, we can be babies, but you take a look at the registration, you have illegals, you have dead people you have this, it’s really a bad situation, it’s really bad.

(CROSSTALK)

O’REILLY: -- you think you will be proven correct in that state?

TRUMP: Well I think I already have, a lot of people have come out and said that I am--

(CROSSTALK)

O’REILLY: The data already shows that 3 million illegals voted.

TRUMP: Forget that, forget all that. Just take a look at the registration and we’re going to do it. I’m going to set up a commission to headed by Vice President Mike Pence and we’re going to look at it very, very carefully.

O’REILLY: Well that’s good. Let’s get to the bottom of it.

"Good...let's get to the bottom of it"?

How about asking when we will see the proof? When will you sign the executive order that you said you were going to sign to look into all these illegal votes?

Also, let's say Trump is right (even though he's not) and that 3 million people voted illegally. Not one Journalist has ever asked this question, "How do you know that these millions of people all voted for Hillary Clinton?"

If millions voted illegally, shouldn't we assume that some of those votes where cast for Trump?

Let's say 3 million people voted illegally and let's that that of that 3 million, 2.75 million voted for Clinton and just a small 250,000 voted for Trump.

Since Clinton won the popular vote by 3 million plus....even using Trump's logic, he still loses the poplar vote by a quarter million people.

Why has no one gone that route?

When Trump said, "Well, many people have come out and said I am right, you know that," that is when O'Reilly should have asked "Who? Who are the many people, name them?"

But, O'Reilly let his friend slide.

This is what happens when you have a non news person conduct and interview with his friend.

Fox News should have let Chris Wallace do the interview.

Let's let real news people do the interviews and let O'Reilly drink milkshakes with Trump as they watch the game together.
