Keeping An Eye on Erin

Erin Burnett went on CNN on Monday night with a swollen right eye that was half closed. 

Now, before you start thinking that Wolf Blitzer popped Erin in the face, let's put that rumor to rest right now. 

It was Anderson Cooper. 

We're kidding. 

A number of people took to social media wondering what was wrong and what happened? Burnett did her best to try and keep the bad eye of camera, but as you know the camera never blinks (ha....get it?). 

Burnett responded to the concerns, saying that she had been suffering from a cold that caused her eye to swell. 

“Thanks so much everyone,” she said in a statement online. “I have a bad cold and literally minutes before the show my eye obviously was affected. Sorry all!”
