A number of people thought that some on air staff at Nexstar owned KRON were joking and laughing at racial stereotypes in a story involving Sean Diddy Combs.

Combs says that he is seriously considering buying the Carolina Panthers.

While Darya Folsom was discussing the story on air, KRON Reporter Henry Wofford made the comments that Diddy looked high and drunk from drinking a 40. Folsom laughed hard at the comments.

Many viewers thought the comments played racial stereotypes and Folsom's laughing, showed she agreed. Folsom also made the comment, "what does Diddy do?"

It wasn't long before the station got lit up on social media and although Wofford made the comments, Folsom caught much of the heat for her reaction.

Wofford posted an apology on the station's website and tried to deflect the blame from Folsom. "Darya Folsom has taken a lot of heat for her reaction to my comments this morning. The negative feedback she’s receiving is unfortunate because Darya is a very professional journalist and I would never want to see anyone blamed for something I said," Wofford wrote.
