Earlier this month, FTVLive told you FIRST that WNYT (Albany) Anchor Subrina Dhammi has been missing from the air for weeks and no one was saying why?
We wrote that station sources tell FTVLive that Dhammi has been involved in an ongoing tiff with another Anchor at the station and it has lead to her taking some time off. And then we added, "Don't be surprised when you hear about an Anchor opening at the Hubbard station in 2018 and it won't likely be for Dhammi's position."
Well, guess what?
Dhammi's co-Anchor Phil Bayly just announced that he is retiring from the station.
"I'm in my 15th year of getting up at midnight to come to work here. While it has been fun, I need a nap," Bayly joked while making the announcement.
His last day is December 22nd.
Not to say that we predicted this, but we TOTALLY did.
