Sinclair posted a job yesterday for a Social Media Analyst.

What does a Social Media Analyst do? 

Well, according to the job posting the SMA will help empower our newsrooms across the country to provide their communities with award-winning journalism through innovative use of social media. We help craft strategies for stations and journalists to win in their market every day. We’re looking for a Social Media Analyst who has a passion for data and local journalism.

The job is based at Sinclair's HQ outside of Baltimore and if we didn't know any better, we might think this is the start of centralizing social media at Sinclair.
