Hey James....

I did the same thing years before you were born. The biggest difference? My camera was a TK-76 and was about 4 times bigger than your camera. Oh and then add a 50-pound deck to record to 3/4 tape. Don't forget the battery belt with tacked on another 10 or 15 pounds. 

All told, the gear we Photogs lugged around back then went well over a 100 pounds. So, seeing you back in the truck with a camera that weighs just a couple of pounds? Sorry man, you're getting no sympathy on this end.
