At the time of his hiring, FTVLive posted a tidbit from TMZ saying, "Former MTV VJ Brian McFayden is being sued by his ex-girlfriend ... who claims the 34-year-old is a jobless deadbeat who USED her so he could play her PlayStation3 on her 72 inch TV."
We tagged our story a year ago saying not sure what KGW is thinking by hiring the guy? But if they are going to the immature, slacker demo, they should have this thing sewed up.
Well, it appears that KGW figured out what FTVLive knew before they even hired him, it wasn't going to work out.
Sources tell FTVLive that an internal email went out to the staff saying that Brian McFayden no longer works at the station and that they wish him the best...blah...blah....blah.
If Tegna only listened to FTVLive a year ago, they could have avoided this.
Oh well....
