One Salt Lake City station is expanding their newscasts, but you will have to get up early on a weekend to see it.
KSTU/FOX13, Tribune Broadcasting’s Salt Lake City station, announced that it is expanding Good Day Utah Weekend Edition, its weekend morning news to three hours beginning September 10.
Hosted by Jennifer Stagg and Brek Bolton, Good Day Utah Weekend Edition, will air from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturdays and Sundays.
“Viewers want their news at a time that is convenient for them,” said KSTU General Manager Tim Ermish. “Providing more live news at key time periods, like weekend mornings, better serves our audience.”
The station says that this expansion will bring the number of hours of live news produced by KSTU to 57.5 per week – the most of any television station in the Salt Lake City market.
