The Portland Exodus

When the FCC approves the deal, KOIN (Portland) will be changing ownership from Media General to Nexstar.

KOIN employees are nervous as they have heard all the Nexstar rumors and many are worried what will happen to the station. 

But a number of staffers aren't waiting around to find out. Many, including GM Adrienne Roark have fled the station and landed across the street at KPTV.

When Roark left KOIN like a fleeing refugee, she has been taking a number other KOIN employees with her. 

Here's a list of others that have gotten out of KOIN before Nexstar moves in and are setting up shop at KPTV.

Dean Snyder - Digital Sales Manager

Kira King - National/Political Sales

Dean Gustafson -  Senior Account Executive  (Over 30 years at KOIN)
