**(Update)** Bounced Boston ND to Resurface across the Street

Back in March, FTVLive told you that WBZ had parted ways with News Director Gary LaPlante.

LaPlante was sacked as the station continues to struggle with ratings. And while WBZ still is struggling with ratings, LaPlante has landed a new job.

The good news..... he doesn't have to pack up and move either. 

Word is that LaPlante has been hired by soon to be independent WHDH in Boston. No word yet on what his role will be at the station.

WHDH continues to beef up their news operation as they will be losing their NBC affiliation and adding more newscasts.
