Leaving ESPN for the Peacock

Longtime, ABC and ESPN sportscaster Mike Trico is leaving and headed to NBC. 

Tirico, the current play-by-play announcer of "Monday Night Football" and about the only sportscaster that understands golf at ESPN is headed to NBC.

It is expected that Trico will become a huge part of NBC's NFL coverage and will likely also be used on their golf coverage as well. 

Tirico has been on ESPN's MNF coverage since 2006.

He leaves ESPN when his contract runs out later this Summer.
