Another Anchor is leaving the job to follow her partner to Dallas.
KLKN (Lincoln) Anchor Vanessa Brown says she is leaving the station and heading to Dallas.
Brown says she's going back to Texas with her husband, who recently landed a five-year surgical residency there.
She will leave by the end of the week.
Brown, who has been at KLKN since June 2010, said she hopes to remain in television.
"I don't have anything set in stone yet," she said "My plan is to work in Dallas." "The people of Nebraska have been so kind and welcoming to me," she said Monday. "I know this may come as a surprise or a shock to some people, but we put a lot of thought into this. We're doing this for (my husband's) career."
