Pittsburgh Anchor Deletes "Racist" Post, Say Sorry

FTVLive FIRST told you yesterday that WTAE Anchor Wendy Bell was under fire for a post she made on Facebook.

Bell posted about the recent mass shooting in the Pittsburgh suburb of Wilkinsburg.

Bell posted her take on the shooting that many thought carried racial undertones. Bell herself edited the post to make it more PC. But, once it's on the Internet, it's on there forever.

While Bell continued to edit her original post to take out what many felt were racist comments, the station remained silent on the issue.

Bell claimed that her comments, "was realism, not racism."

But now Bell has deleted her post and replaced it with an apology.

It took longer than it should, but it is good that Bell finally saw that her post was insensitive to say the least.

It just would have been better, if she or the station had acted earlier.
