Slowly Being Pushed Out

WIVB (Buffalo) Weatherman Don Paul told viewers that he was "retiring" in late March, but the station is cutting his time on air right now. 

Earlier in the Feb book, Paul was pulled from the 11PM broadcast in favor of Todd Santos, who will be replacing Paul when he leaves.

Now, the station has pulled Paul from the 6PM newscast as well, again with Santos taking his spot.

So, the guy that was the main Weather Anchor for 3 decades at the station, is now stuck with just the 5PM newscast until he is pushed out the door for the last time. 

You get that he's being replaced, but couldn't the station have let him work his normal shift until his final day?

You'd think that after 30+ years, you deserve at least that.
